There are grains of truth in most stereotypes, and whilst I can see some people may read this and instantly get their hackles up, you do actually make a good point.

Whilst there are some very talented white emcees around (you know the list), I think all in all black people do it better. It’s like the Blues: both have their roots so deeply ingrained in black culture and the daily struggles that come with being black that although say, Eric Clapton may be a great blues artist (or used to be), he will never, ever be able to bring to the table what an artist like Howling Wolf or Robert Johnson could.

In my experience, the best b-boys tend to be Asian for some reason.

And no, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with asking a question like this. We ask if female emcees are as good as their male counterparts all the time, or if a gay rapper could have credibility, so I don’t see this question as being any different to those ones.
