what is there to do on bleecker st in nyc?
i want to take my friend there for a day around march for her birthday. she has a record player so i wanted to let her buy a bunch of records on me, i heard there are music stores on bleecker st. i also want to take her to the famous magnolia bakery, and johns pizzeria which has her favorite pizza. but are there any like fun shops or anything to go to? what about clothes-shopping? she loves anything vintage, second hand, etc. but also stores like urban outfitters. i never go to the city i just know that she loves bleecker st with a passion so if you have any advice or information about whats there to do, that would really help me. thanks (:
You could also take your friend to a show at the Bleecker St. Theatre!

The best record stores are no where near Bleecker. There’s Academy Records on 12th street off 1st ave., Sound Library in LES, and A1 records on 6th street btwn 1st & A. There’s also Other music in Noho (google address).
Bleecker Bobs records store is the only one i can think of on Bleecker. There’s an Urban Outfitters near west 4th & 6th ave and one on Broadway near houston in Soho.
you should hit up the east village, most of the record stores i mentioned are there and more. Lots of boutiques and second hand shops. Streets from 14th street & 1st ave all the way to 3rd street and ave B
