What if there was a device that could record your dreams?
This is more like something you would see out of a Science Fiction movie, but what If one day there was a device that could record your dreams while you were sleeping, would you use it? Fore say this device could record your brain activity, like how a DVD players laser reads the disc and decodes it then so you can view it on the TV. Like if this device worked somewhat the same way as a DVD player would, it scans your thoughts and records it then so the next day when you wake up you could view it. I'm only looking for opinions.
Yes please!
I’ve actually heard a more interesting version of this hypothetical. What if you had the exact same machine but you had the catch that whatever you dreamed about would HAVE to be viewed by you and everyone you’re close to?
Sounds cool at first, but the condition could make things a lot more difficult and harder to choose from. With what you proposed, I wouldn’t know a single person who wouldn’t want to have that device, but I like having the catch, it makes things more difficult.
I dunno, I suppose it depends on the dream, I mean, some of my dreams are kind of dull, and others are just weird. I think that it would be cool to have something like that to watch the dreams I used to have, but as I’ve gotten older they have a lot more to do with things and events that occur in my everyday life, which just isn’t as magical.
I don’t remember where, but I remember reading a while back that dreams really only last a few seconds, even the ones that feel like they last for hours they actually take place in a matter of seconds, but I don’t know how true this is.
