What Fisher Price toy used to kick butt in your childhood?
I used to rock out to the record player. I liked the purple record, #4, with Camptown Races.
When I'd get bored with it, I'd strum the music things under the stylus.

I used to have a car garage from Fisher Price that I played with! That brings back such great memories!
This Big Bird keyboard thing that helped with typing skills. You’d put this floppy disk thing in the toy and they’d give you a challege or something. I was amazed how fast my uncle could type.
I was such a little traditionalist — I had the house and the farm — I loved the tractor!

i had a blue bootleg piano and a telephone that i had since i was like two. i don’t have the piano but i have the telephone and it still works. it even has the same batteries.
I can’t remember brand names, except the Mattel record player, it was orange and white and opened like a briefcase. I took it every where. Oh, and Dressy Bessy and Mr. Potato Head got it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And now Fisher Price has little CD players for kids?
I forgot all about the record players. Brought a big smile to my face to see that there.
I don’t know if it was Fisher Price or not, by my fav two toys were the inchworm…you get on it and bounce up and down to get it to move forward. (Kind of like a relationship huh??) and my Snoopy SnoCone machine.
