		<description>The rpms are the revolutions per minute...Unless you have  an extensive record collection , youm won't have any '78's, which were  dicontinued many years ago.  the regular lp albums are still on 331/3.  single 7&#34; w/ large center hole are usuall y 45's unless they are an extended play, which may be 33/13 or 45.  If you have some which the speed is not noted, (unusual) try it on either speed ... you'll know instantly whether or not it's the right speed.   Unless you are planning to start collecting recors from the '20's - '50's don't concern yourself with not having the 78 speed.</description>
