Wanting to buy a record player but don't really know what I'm supposed to be looking for…?
I have never bought one or used one before, but I just found boxes of old records in my dad's storage unit and want to buy one now so I can use the records...what should I look for when buying one? I looked a little online but don't understand what they're talking about in any of the descriptions...they keep using all these numbers and I have no idea what they mean...
So, and I'm sure it sounds lame, (but whatever) could you please explain it all to me?
Thanks!
Okay, I don’t think you really need some big bad turntable. Why spend hundreds of dollars to find out that you don’t even like that music. Unless you have a stereo made up of separate components, you just need a self-contained record player that doesn’t need to be connected to anything else. Browse Crosley.com. They also make some with USB connectivity so you could put the music on your computer, burn it to CD or put it on an iPod or MP3 player.
