I'm moving out of my parents' house for the first time in a few months, but I thought about a potential problem with roaches moving with me! I HATE bugs, and the whole point of moving is to get a fresh start. I'm a college student without a whole lot of money at my disposal (its a miracle even that I'm able to afford moving out!!!). I own an oldschool tv (as in NOT HD/LCD tv) w/ slits for ventilation in the back, a DVD player w/ ventilation on the bottom, a VCR with the front "Tape-cover" thing broken off, a vinyl record player/turntable, an el-cheapo Lexxon subwoofer-home theater system, a 4 channel mixer, and a portable Zoom digital recording studio. Oh yeah, and I just got a printer for my birthday...
What are some tricks or hints or pieces of advice that any of you may have when experiencing similar issues?

HEY "tk" I don't see how this is a stupid question, not nearly as much as you gave me a stupid answer because you can't spray "INSIDE OF" electronic devices where the roaches are attracted to the warmth and the equipment! Thank you for being insensitive!
Where can I find a needle for my vintage turntable?
I need a new needle for my vinyl record player. It is pretty old, a Panasonic LTD Se-4509. I can't seem to find a place that has a needle for it anywhere. Does anyone know anything about this model?? Or where I can find more information about it? Are there needles that fit more than one model?
I really don't know much about turntables and would really appreciate if someone can help and point me in the right direction, or is this turntable a lost cause??
Also if anyone knows any music stores or repair shops that fix old turntables around CHICAGO, IL that would be great!

i have a Inovalley Retro Styled HiFi System,FM Radio,Vinyl Record Player & CD Player,
but it came with a faulty needle but i didnt think it was worth sending back, but i still need to find somewhere to find a new needle as it comes out strange ive tested everything else on the
sytem but the last thing is the needle, so any ideas?
i am a teenager and dont have too much knoweledge on this subject so i would love any answers

I've been looking for this song for 15 years, and I fianlly found an old 70's vinyl. It's the smaller kind if that makes a difference. The song is Andre Marie Tela's "Je vais a Yaounde". Anyway I have no way to play it, and instead of buying a vinyl record player, I'd rather have a digital copy or on CD, which is actually legal, if you have the original. Anyway is there anywhere I can go, like the Musical Version of Office Max? I live in San Francisco,CA.

My Dad has an old vinyl record player up in our attic that he said yesterday has needed a new needle for years. I was hoping someone could tell me where to buy one, and if I need to know the specifics of the needle/player.
I can't buy on eBay which was my first choice as I don't have a credit card of my own and would have to use my father's account instead which would wreck the surprise.
Does anyone know of somewhere online that I can order a record needle using my Laser Card and that would deliver to Ireland? And again, if I need to find out anything specific about the needle: size/manufacturer/ etc?

The thing is on the rear side of the Cassette Deck (Akai CS-34D) says '120V 60Hz 10W' and on the amplifier I'm going to use (where I have to plug the two things) there are two available spots. One says 'Switched 100W max' and on the other one it says 'Unswitched 150W max'. The Vinyl record player doesn't say anything.
Please help me and tell me which thing I put in each spot?
