Do I need to save it as something different? I have a program that will let me save it as a AVI file, but i'm not familiar with that. Is there a free downloadable software out there that I can use? I have burned music from media player lots of time, but never a dvd. Thanks!
I was being dropped off at home, when I got out of the car, I noticed two thugs getting out of my car.. As I walked towards them, as if demanding... the thug hugged me as if he knew me, he said while he was hugging me, " best if you don't say anything" don't open your mouth if you know whats good for you" I looked puzzled, I almost felt I had called for help and thought none of these neighbors are doing anything. The thug, then said, you'll get a bill, I got some ticket in the highway for 168. And this wasn't the first time I took your car.
I didn't know what to do. I was thinking, " I need to do something, these guys know where I live, they know my name. How, why? If I call the police, then what..
I went inside the house, and I guess time passed and the thug came back as if he had the key to the house, he walked in and said, " I'm checking in , you know" He was acting very arrogant as if he had us / me in his hands. He played the radio and asked me to dance, I said, how dare you after all you did. Ask her to dance, so my sister got up and danced with him. ( the music was latin) Weird?
He then was dancing by himself, some freestyle / breakdancingmusic - He was doing some poping on the floor.
I heard the house bell / buzzard and I turned to it and said, " jeffrey"? Even though I clicked the button I couldn't hear him but just street noise. I clicked on another button and minute later he was inside. As he walked in, I said, " Jeffrey, shhh, and told him what happend, I said, I don't know what I am going to do... I said, I need to hide you, and then one of the guys saw him, and I said, Oh , he's just here to bring some cakes, right... Jeffrey, went downstairs to get the cakes, he brought three different type of pastries/ cakes, one was like a strawberry, the other was I guess what was a pie, maybe peach cobbler. I told him, oh, that's the recipe I told Kali off... why did she put herself to do all this... he said, you know her. ( his fiancee in real life)
At some point, I remember saying, we need to move from here if not these guys will always find us here.. we can't live like this. I saw a house, apparently my house in the dream, it was ivory/ w/beige brick house.. sort of old antique looking.
Any thoughts, please? No dream moods or other sites, just serious interpreters, please.
Thank you
I have several cassette players, which I use frequently for tape loops and mastering music. But now, none of them seem to record. Otherwise they function perfectly. I can't figure out if something needs to be set in them or adjusted, or if the problem is irreparable. Can anyone help me with this?
I am not I think very up to date with new technology. It seems as though we are invited to part with money for devices to do all sorts of things I wouldn't find at all useful. I have been making an effort recently for my daughter's sake, to get interested. I would like some type of system where I could save music tracks we especially like and have them played as a shuffle. I have a computer a fairly up to date computer and CD player, and the sort of MP3 player that looks as though ti's fallen out of a cracker that someone gave to us and has stopped working. Battery? who knows.. I know an ipod with nifty little speakers would do this but no-one in our house will be buying one of those anytime soon! ( I do see the point of those, I think they're a beautiful piece of technology) Is there any other way we could do this? Also had a thought about an inexpensive portable recording device to record my daughter playing the piano. It could be useful for recording notes to myself and help me getting down to writing letters too. Any suggestions?
I have a home stereo with a record player. When I play records the music sounds slow. Can this be fixed? and how?
I'd like to buy a record player. Its really nice, and it doesn't look antique but i thought it would be cool to have. My buddy has a record of Cancer Bats, which is kinda a new band.
Is there any popular (new ish) bands that still make records?
I like any music really, and im not looking for anything from the 60's or anything lol
I wanted to buy some vinyls. I'm confused. Will this: http://www.amazon.com/Everything-Transit-Anniversary-Jacks-Mannequin/dp/B0046YK4A2/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1304788222&sr=1-1
work on my player?
I have gone through the process of digitizing my music to my computer. I didn't know any better, and I recorded everything as wma files. Everything works well on my computer, but if I buy and use a portable player, have I screwed myself by not recording as MP3s? Is there a way to convert all these albums on my computer? Do I need to "re-record" everything? Please let me know what I'm up against.
Thanks.
Earlier today I bought an mp3 player however when I add music to it, it doesn't show up on the mps player itself while it says on my PC the music is on there, the music is all mp3, all on, fully transferred but the mp3 player display just says 'no file' what the heck is up with it???

Ion power play LP USB-powered vinyl to MP3 turntable speaker sound?
I bought the Ion power play LP USB-powered vinyl to MP3 turntable and it works fine and I've got it to play through the speakers on my computer (by adjusting the microphone default settings on my computer. My normal speakers are also set to default and are used when I play records) however it stills plays through the speakers on the turntable so I have got two sounds playing at different volumes and I was just wondering if anyone knew how to turn the sound on the record player off? Its annoying to have the background noise from the record player too. The sound would appear to be coming from the base of the tonearm. The speaker isn't listed in the little book I got with it though listing the different parts. I can live with it if I can get the sound turned off but obviously this would be better and allow me to enjoy the music fully.
I hook the portable cassette player to the pc and recorded it to a audio editor that I have and played it back, the sound don't sound good like if listing to music on a portable player, I figure that hooking it through the dvd player, tv or a speaker system to make the sound better,
for example ( if you listing to music on a portable cassette or cd player, the sound sucks but playing it on a stereo it sound good<
looking for something that I can sing to my music and embed it to my web page so everyone can hear it play when they come to my site.Ive tried looking up things and to no avail I cant find what Im looking for.
I tried with my MP3-player but the music was too loud and it all got distorted. Is there a low-budget mp3-player that records live-music well enough?
My amazing husband bought me what I've always wanted- a record player. I went out and bought some of my favorite records- and at a steal. So I go home to play them, and I can barely hear the music. I have to stand right there just to hear any noise. So what speakers do I need, and where can I find them? The model number is 304. 91810 251, it being Sears Roebuck. Thanks!
I gave you the model number and type. what more do you need? obviously, you didn't read the question lol.
To be more specific, i want to put music from a CD on to a cassette. (dont ask why, i just do :P) Using a CD and Cassette player. You know that Record button on the player? I wanna see if I can actually do this. Is it possible?
I have just purchased a used record player, along with a few new vinyls. When I plugged it into my amp and began to play the record, after a few minutes, the sound became very scratchy and unclear. I have made sure all the plugs are plugged FULLY in, I just purchased a new cartridge and the sounds is still scratchy. I have played music on the amp and speakers from my computer, and it sounds fine.
It's a legit record player with needle and all with the spin but the record's red and it's just a controller for the music from the computer
I have a lifetime Sirius subscription, but barely use it anymore because Sirius is blocked at work and I usually listen to CDs in the car.
I would like to get a new portable receiver for:
1. Use at gym as a MP3 player
2. Record Howard Stern or Sports and listen to during work.
3. Use in the car as well for talk and/or music.
I usually use the internet to listen when I'm home I have no need for the receiver.
Any recommendations on what will be the best for me.
I can't access Sirius at work, even just to look at the receivers.
I do know they have the Stiletto but I hear alot of bad reviews about that.
I noticed XM has something called the XMP3 which looks pretty good, but can you use that with Sirius?
Thanks for the help.
If you are having trouble burning cds with WMP, lower your burn speed. I posted previously today why my cds used to play on computer, but not on stereo or portable cd player. The cds being used to burn music obviously didn't keep up with the burn speed of computers. To do this, insert blank cd, click on my computer, right click on CD Drive (E:), click recording tab, and select a write speed of 4x or lower. Hope this helps. If not, then take your computer you paid your hard earned money for, find the tallest building, and throw the sucker clean off. Good luck. And Nicole, stop calling me, I don't want you!
I have a PT-649D dual-tape audio cassette player that can also record things onto a tape. However when I played a record while recording the song on a never used blank tape (Maxwell XLII) the results were "choppy" and unclear (not like it should be, even as the music is supposed to be a lower quality when you copy it), is there any way I can record it so the sound is better without buying a turntable specifically made for that purpose?
Tvguy, your solution makes sense because the VU is always in the red, but how do you do what you are trying to do?
Um... I need a turntable/record player VERY CHEAPLY. I do not care if it's used, really bad. All i want it to do is spin around.
Why? Im using it for my science project. I will only use it once for it, so all i want is cheap one that can spin-yes, it doesnt even have to be able to play music
Could you tell me where i can get a very CHEAP record player?
(maximum - preferably ... Cheaper the better.)
OR
Just tell me something that will WORK like a turntable/record player. No cd player btw. I need to be able to attach something onto the top, so The object will spin round and round.
Maybe im asking for too much... Anyway, thanks
I am from a generation of CDs and MP3s, but as i like only 60s music the best, i thought i would buy a record player. can anyone tell me any benefits of using records? even if you cant i will still use them. anyway what i wanted to ask is can i choose what song to play on the record, like place the needle on a different song? on an album, are each set of grooves a new song?
I need most of the basic features to listen to music, see vids, sync, etc.
Also, It would be good if the player can record live sounds, like the Realplayer Plus does, which by the way i dont want to buy coz i really am not happy with the regular real player, its slow and hangs a lot.
i want a job as dj i always wanted to do since childhood because i love music im just tired working at minimum jobs i am 23 years old
i recently came into possession of some records and a semi-new record player/cd/radio/tape combo. I started listening and during quieter parts of a song i could hear music that was played earlier, in the background, almost like an echo. In this case i was listening to Miles Davis and i could hear parts of his solo from the song before in the next song (Fast chart- Ballad)
Could this be my stylus ? and if so any idea what kind most of these combo systems use?
Please and thank you
