I don't have a record player so I can't test them. They are not in sleeves, I used to keep them in a little 45 box where you took off the sleeves. Who would have known?
They are not in perfect shape to sell on ebay.
Thanks.

I know that the second one has speakers, my question is mainly aimed toward the first one

I really want to buy my boyfriend a new record player because his dad had to sell his when they were in a money crunch

Ive been looking at this one and it has everything, other than speakers
I obviously dont know much about record players, but i was wondering if anyone knew if this had speakers built into it or not

lol sorry, I thought that i had put that in there before

I bought a record player from Australia on eBay and I live in North America. I went to RadioShack and it was to buy the two things I would need for the record player to work. What is the cheapest alternative?

I have a zenith universal radio that is from 1943. It has the handle and the back to the magnet is nailed up, but it was told to me that the magnet is still in there. It has all the knobs and there's nothing missing. The only problem is that it's door compartment is hanging loose because one side came off the hinges And it has age wearied leather but other than that it is fine. So my question is what would this be worth on ebay, amazon, etc. Or in an auction type setting.
I need real answers from preferably professionals or people who have done research

Hello! in about a month its gonna be my boyfriends birthday, and i've bought him a couple of records since hes starting to collect them. And now that i think about it, I should get him a record player to go along with it! can someone tell me the differences between a turntable and just a record player? Also where i can find one about 50 or up to 100 dollars? Im looking on eBay but everything is so confusing and I dont want to buy him something that doesn't work... vintage is fine... I dont want anything new or shiny.
Thanks for your help :) I cant even play cassette anymore...

i was gonna ask mah mom if i could bid on a vintage record player on ebay, but i was wondering if all records work on every record player. and will vinyl records from hot topic work on a vintage record player? and if said record player is beteen 5 and 10 dollars and they say it works, will it work? wil it be cheap or is this person just feeling generous? thanks. and hurry, bid ends soon.

also, how much are records from hot topic.

This is a bit embarrassing, please bear with me because I know nothing about this stuff. I want to buy an old vintage record player and a bunch of records, but I'm looking on ebay and it states whether the records are 33 or 45 or 78 RPM. I have no idea what this means, and how do I know which are compatible with a record player? Are they all compatible? Is one of the RPM better than another? Please help me out, thanks!!

Over my lifetime, I have sold Avon, ladies clothing, kids toys, fine jewelry, junk jewelry wholesale, veggies I grew (both as a kid and now), junk on Ebay, radio advertising, campground timeshares, college tour guide/admissions rep, stuff at flea markets, seeds, ideas, antique dishes and linens, cars for my husband on Ebay, band boosters junk, promotional products, and farmers work boots.
My Dad taught me at a very young age that if I could sell, I would never go hungry. What types of things have you used your sales skills to sell?

like this one on ebay:

do you know where i can buy one? like an actual store or a legit website (not ebay or anything)

in the show, ten things i hate about you, there is one that kat uses in episode 7. something like that.

A while back I asked if the RIAA would have issues with selling an mp3 player on ebay loaded with music. Most people came back saying the RIAA very much would have a problem with that. However I still don't get it. How come it's ok to sell used CD's, DVD's, VHS tapes, records, etc? There is a legal market for all of these items. How come I can't resell my mp3 collection??? Isn't an mp3 just another form of media?

I'm not too savy when it comes to turntables, but I'd like to get one that doesn't need seperate speakers. I'd like one that has them built in, and I don't want any modern players with it (cd/ipod) just a plain ole record player. Where would be the best place to find one, antique stores, ebay, craigslist, and what do I search/ask for?
wow i just realized it was in cricket... yea i thought i clicked music... hmmmm... sorry guys

These are Ham Radio "QSL cards". The cards are all to Charles Waff Jr., Amateur Radio W3UVA, University, VA. From the very limited info I've found on him, he was a fairly prolific "DX'er" in his time (he's mentioned as a "famous old time DX'er" at http://hamgallery.com/gallery/U/unknown.htm). There are roughly 1200. The cards range from the early 30's to early 40's, most around 1935 to 1937. Cards are from all over the US, and all over the world (many from Russia ((primarily Leningrad)), Germany ((some have Swastika's on them)), Western Australia, Czechoslavakia, Japan, et cetera; there are many more countries); some use postage, others a QSL bureau. Some have odd small blue stamps with triangles in them, or other "non-postage" QSL stamps. Condition is very mixed, ranging from poor to nearly new appearing. Anyway, the question; any value, or just curiosities? A local antique dealer offered me 0 for them; does this sound fair? Any help appreciated, apparently no value guides exist.
To answer the "Have you tried Ebay?" reply, yes, I've tried Ebay, Google, qsl.net, et cetera. Most of the cards on Ebay are considerably newer, 1950's to present, and most of the "collections" are primarily cards from the US and/or modern. The price on the smattering of individual cards from the 1930's seem to depend on the countries sent from; however, I've been unable to find any guide to "rare" countries, senders, et cetera, nor other method of sorting common cards/locations from rarer. Thanks!

Does anybody know where i can buy a vintage vinyl record player?
An average price as well?

I've already checked ebay.

I've been helping my 70 year old Father (electrical engineer) clean up his house. He has a working TRS-80, with all sorts of documentation. Is there any market for this antique?

I see some going on ebay, but i was wondering if there was a better forum for selling this stuff...

I have some old records i want to sell on ebay. How do i know if they are 33 or 45? i dont have a player

Ok - the last time I used a turn table was about 23 yrs ago so I can't remember the name of the little circlar "disk" that went fit inside the record hole to make it fit the turn table. There was also one that fit onto the turn table (as opposed to the actual record).

I need the names of these do I can search for one on Ebay....I have some old records I want to play for my kids (9 & 3 - never seen a record!!) but they're 45's & don't fit the turn table.
Just searched Ebay - is this it?
