I recorded this on my cheap MP3 Player's mic, and used my speakers to get a beat in the background. The quality is really bad but I just wanted to see how it would come out. Tell me what you think and be honest.

i'm trying to spit quiet, so i'm holding back my voice. but really i don't know if that's the problem or it just my voice. and a little bit the mic distortion.

Cosign Cap, this is the best recordin I’ve heard on here… there hasnt been that many, but regardless… i would just say relax your voice some and add a bit more personality to it, you kinda sound whiny when you start rappin lol
You need to have more confidence when you’re spitting. You sound like you’re holding back. Just let it flow and open your mouth more. Good lines as usual, i’m likin the Jordan reference. Your flow could use some work, but with practice you’ll get there. 7/10

Your lyrics are good. Your flow is good, but a bit "rushed".

That was Truly ill! Definitely one of the best recorded raps I’ve heard on here. Your flow is great, and the lyrics were sick. My only advice would be to project your voice a little more and have more confidence with what you’re saying, because what you’re saying is dope. I was actually surprised because I know you said you’ve never recorded before. Keep doing your thing! 4.7/5
It was pretty good. But yeah, I agree with everyone that you sound kind of unconfident and whiny. But you did rap with the beat and flow well with good lyrics. 8/10. By the way, WTF were you saying at the end? LMAO.

It’s good, better than this shitty mic I had a year ago. The flow was good (but rushed at places and I couldn’t hear), your voice sounded whinny (no offense) but like you were trying to do it really soft might had done that. I liked it. You need to save up around 150 and order a Musician’s Friend’s mag (you can order one for free) and look for a mic in it. I got a USB AT2020, which is doing pretty good for me (it doesn’t need a mixer or preamp so all you do is plug in and record it’s great). Recording programs are hard to come by and hard to work while getting ready to record too.
