It is not worth a penny over $1500... Really they are giving you most likely less performance than having 2 GTX260's in sli for the same price as you could get 2 GTX260's for... Search the parts out on newegg.com and see for yourself how much extra they are making on each individual part. I searched Alienware for just kicks and found that for a 9950 Phenom processor you had to add $300 to the $1100 system price. The 9950 costs $170 on newegg.com at the time and they were making double profit and you are still paying for the origional processor that they were going to put into the $1100 system to begin with... These places have it all figured out for people to spend as much as possible for something that isn't that good. For the price you are paying for those 250GTX from Ibuymedeocrepower you could buy a 280GTX and be happier. For the average user and gamer, the second card is not even relevent, mostly the first card is the one being used. Only games such as Crysis and exclusive benching games really utalize the second card.
Watch some you tube video's and read up on building a computer. You can have a totally maxxed out set up for $1500 without the monitor. If you want a large screen, don't go with a monitor, go with a TV. You can get a 32" from Wal Mart for $400...
I am playing my games on a 61" HDTV with only a single 4870 and a q6600 Intel processor on a P45 ASUS motherboard. No lag no nothing but pure gaming excietment. I play Crysis, Warhead, Stalker CS and the COD series with no problems at all, on 1920x1080... My only problem is that with the projection TV you can only get a 30 refresh rate, but who cares it is on a billboard...

Let me guess, Alienware? Don't buy alienware. Its much cheaper to build yourself.

FIRST google power supply calculator. You only need around a 700-800 watt power supply. Even less than that. Get a single GTX 285. Single Card Solution. You don't have to worry about multiple gpu scaling issues in games. GTX 285 is very overclockable and kicks as* For great gaming go with a monitor resolution of 1920X1200. You will never go back!!! If you're not building yourself you can buy 8 gb. of g.skill 1066 ram for $100.00. The cpu heatsink is expensive and in my opinion not the best. Get a larger case and the vigor monsoon cooler. I would rather have you build and get a different case. You save a lot of money! DO NOT: I REPEAT DO NOT get the network gaming cards. They do not lower ping at all. Studies show they lower ping by only between one-ten. Not even noticeable! Hard drive is too big unless you split it into many partitions. That's just more data for your computer to search through unless you cut it into smaller partitions. 2 250gb. should suffice. one for os and the other for storage. Motherboard is pretty expensive. Like I said before I would rather have you build and get the p5q motherboard and get the single card 285. the p5q is less than $130.00. Doesn't support sli but like I said one 285 will run Crysis maxed with 2 AA at an average of 41 fps. (original crysis too.) Besides Crysis is just a marketing strategy to get people to buy expensive hardware now. Sound cards don't usually matter to me but they're all right. I just use the onboard audio. You could stand to save hundreds if you take some of the unneccesary stuff out but all in all fairly good. You could save almost a thousand with a build-yourself-project. GOOD LUCK! AND MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!

For me terribly unbalanced! Reminds me of a circus elephant riding a tricycle LOL If you research high resolution/setting gaming you'd see that a P2X4 940BE is a better solution than even i7! So do it justice by

1. Dropping down to a 790GX or find a great 790FX bundle on Egg
2. Upping to a 24" 1920 x 1200 LCD
3. Upping to a HD4850X2
4. Corsair 750/850TX would suffice
Example:

I guarantee my config will muder your original one in games!

Pretty much listen to the 2nd answer. You need a better case. Save the money he's talking about and cool it with water. Koolance has awesome cases with pre installed water cooling. Forget SLI. If you want that nuch storage use 4- 250 GB SATA HD in Raid O. you will need a floppy drive to install the Raid drivers. 4 hard drives in a Raid Array will be way faster than 1- 1TB drive. Game on dude!
