Is there a way to convert my old vinyl records to a digital format using a Crosley Rochester?
I was wondering if there was a way to convert my records to my computer and/or cd. I have a Crosley Rochester record player. There is no line out on the machine. Is there an alternative way to transfer the music? Here is a link to the record player I own

Your Crosley won’t convert your LP Records to a format that can be downloaded to your Computer. And regular RCA Plug Line Output Jacks won’t work either. What you’re going to need is a Turntable [high quality Record Player] with an Output specifically made to plug into a Computer as well as a regular Audio Amp.Make sure it has a good quality Magnetic [not Ceramic] Phono Cartridge. http://www.radioshack.com [do a search] sells one for around $80, the Vinylwriter Pico USB 2 PC Recordable Turntable Catalog # 55034891 [enter that number] and more expensive, depending on what features you want. And you can probably find them on line as well. But if you buy one at a local store, and you have any problems, you can take it right back.Hope this helps !
