Is it strange to use these old-fashioned home appliances?
I use rotary dial as the main telephone in the house, wash and dry clothes manually instead of an automatic dryer, wash dishes manually instead of dishwasher, use a record player, a typewriter, one of my televisions is from 1988, use a broom and mop, etc. Is this strange? I am 20
not at all…. but it might be easier to use appliances from today

Well it is a little different, but that what makes the world interesting, you are saving energy by drying clothes. A lot of people still use a broom and mop, if washing dishes relaxes you then thats the thing to do, so forget about other people.
It’s just that there are easier ways to do things. The choice is yours. I still hang my clothes out to dry but I’m using a washer to wash them so they get clean. I threw out a perfectly good tv myself to get one that had a better picture and a remote. It took two people to get it down off the stand. The one I replaced it with I could lift up there with one arm. It was in my bedroom and it was time for a remote. I can’t imagine still typing on a typewriter and since you are on the computer, I tend not to believe anything you’ve said here.
Good for you,too many people throw away perfectly good equipment just to have something new.
