Is it possible to record using a DVD Player?
I'm sure that most remember recording programs using a VCR for when they couldn't watch it on the channel. I have this Memorex Dual Player (Discontinued) and it has a composite port to plug other devices into. I want to record my Wii and upload it to my computer but I need to store it in something compatible with my computer. How could I record my television using a DVD player?
There is a reason why they call it a DVD Player… be’cuz all it can do is "PLAY". You need to get a DVD Recorder, which btw "plays" and "records".
You would need a DVD recorder and blank DVD to that.I have hooked up my game system to my record my kid’s gaming so it can be done
A regular DVD player only plays DVDs.
However they do make DVD Recorders, which can play DVDs and record if you’re using a blank DVD+R or DVD-R disc.
