Is it OK to record a song from the radio on my MP3 player and listen to it like any other MP3 I own?
My MP3 Player has an FM radio and I can record music off the radio, Is it legal for me to record the radio and listen to the MP3?
Back in the eighties I used to record the radio onto tape and listen to it later, was that legal then?
The US Supreme Court has ruled (the Sony case) that making video recordings off the air for later viewing is perfectly legal, i.e., not a copyright infringement. The identical rule should apply to making audio recordings off the air.
Umm…Yeah!! You can’t get into trouble for it, it’s not like your downloading it illegally or anything!
As long as your getting your music over the airwaves it’s always been legal.
it is legal however, if you do this several times you could possibly get in trouble
