Your gramophone will play records at a speed of 78rpm.  There may be an adjuster to correct the speed but it will not play more modern records of 33rpm or 45rpm.

You may physically be able to get playback from modern records, but at a greatly increased speed.  I would not recommend trying though as the gramophone will probably have steel needles with it (trimmed bamboo were also used and are my personal preference) and these are likely to damage the surface of the vinyl</description>
