If evolution is a fact, then what about the technologies?
If mankind had evolved, as evolutionists claim, then why has mankind gone from writing upon stones to laser printers in just the past 3,500 years? Why didn't man discover ink a thousands of years ago?
There were NO planes, cars, computers, refrigerators, electricity, lights, gas, powered-equipment, telephones, recording devices, CD players, MP3 players, electric razors, televisions, record players, movie cameras, or a million other modern technological inventions--just a mere 170 years ago.
Civilization has advanced from utter primitiveness to incredible mind-boggling achievements in just a little over 100 years. So why didn't mankind discover any of this stuff 100,000 years ago for that matter?
Evolutionists today are just as ignorant of the truth of God's Word, and of common sense itself. It's hard to imagine that millions of people were dying from a simple lack of ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) just a couple hundred years ago.
If evolution is true, then it took man billions of years to learn all these kindergarten lessons. And ironically, man has only learned these lessons in the past couple hundred years.
If mankind had evolved over millions of years, then men would have discovered these inventions a very long time ago.
The truth is that evolutionists are hardhearted against the truth of God's Word. The Word of God declares that God created the world at approximately 4,000 B.C
This is proof against evolution.

Evolution is a lie. God created all forms of life. Again, thank you for your dedication to the truth.
Your question is so ironic. We have EVOLVED since "writing upon stones" .. And I suspect we will continue to…it’s futile for you to resist nature.
Technological progress within civilization is not part of biological evolution. In more recent times, people have more pre-existing technology to build upon. The innovations of the ancient world are brilliant in their own right, and if such people were born in modern times, then surely they could manage what we got too. It all relies on the progression of culture.
This is the worst argument…. ever… congratulations…
the collective knowledge of a group is not part of the theory of evolution…
evolution is about the BIOLOGICAL change that explains the diversity of species…
Knowledge is not a tangible object, it doesn’t reproduce, it carries no DNA therefore it doesn’t evolve in the biological sense…
IF? evolution happened, it’s a fact. The THEORY of evolution is the explanation of how and why natural selection works… much like Gravity is an observable fact, and the THEORY explains how it works….
evolution is a THEORY only. not a proven fact.
Technology doesn’t evolve you fixxing retard. Only living things that have DNA and reproduce evolve.
do you believe a monkey who still is a monkey came out to be human ?ok and evolution is a two way path guess one day some human offsprings are gonna have tails and become monkeys (bunch of crap)
War …. the more war mankind has in the industrial age the faster technology evolves… Remember necessity is the mother of invention…
If evolution is false, why didn’t Adam and Eve have computers and airplanes and cars and everything else? Why did it take, according to your timeline, 5,900 years to come up with this stuff?
"If evolution is true, then it took man billions of years to learn…"
Not too clear on evolution, are ya?
Ignorance is not attractive, except to other ignorant people.
Peace.
hahahahahhahahahhahahahahahaha…good one
Lets look at ascorbic acid deficiency as long as you bring it up. Most mammals manufacture ascorbic acid. We have a mutation in one gene at a necessary step in the production of ascorbic acid which breaks the mechanism. If we were designed why would we have that mutation. Furthermore why would other primates share the exact same mutation in the exact same location. What are the odds of each of those primate species sharing the exact same mutation if we don’t share a common ancestry.
Non-sequitur.
Stop asking shit.
No one cares for your opinion.
Yes, opinion.
Nice try, brother, but your argument doesn’t hold much water I’m afraid.
back then in times of religion that stuff was thought to be witch craft and people were put to death for such blasphemy by who other than the god fearing people themselves.
as for before that. if there is no one to teach us these things, to help us learn on our own and our main goal is to SURVIVE then yes it would take a long time to figure out. evolution has nothing to do with inventing things.
just think how long it would take for a baby to learn to eat and walk and so on if no one was there to show them.
well what about Adam and eve and their children? how come they didn’t come up with these things sooner? think about what you are saying before asking.
Why didn’t we start out with those things in the first place?
But I’ll answer your question with request. You can build a fire right? OK, now go build an internal combustion engine without using any instructions, blueprints, or any other source of knowledge about them. I’m asking you to invent it based only on your knowledge of making a fire, and remember this is only making a simple step of using energy and using energy to do work.
Let me know how long it takes you to build it.
If an all loving God is true, then what about babies born with cancer?
it is not a fact……WRONG BOARD
proof that evolution is bullshit from "JESUS IS SAVIOR.COM"
you sir….are retarded.
"If mankind had evolved, as evolutionists claim, then why has mankind gone from writing upon stones to laser printers in just the past 3,500 years? Why didn’t man discover ink a thousands of years ago?"
What does our discovery of these things have to do with biological evolution? non sequitur
"So why didn’t mankind discover any of this stuff 100,000 years ago for that matter?"
Because the scientific method is not intuitive, and because religious people supressed it during the dark ages. Again, what does this have to do with biological evolution.
"If evolution is true, then it took man billions of years to learn all these kindergarten lessons."
Back when NO human knew them they WEREN’T kindergarten lessons.
"If mankind had evolved over millions of years, then men would have discovered these inventions a very long time ago. "
By what reasoning?
And if god existed and made us, why didn’t he give us this knowledge so we could save more lives through medicine, etc.
"This is proof against evolution."
We have observed instances of speciation directly. We’ve SEEN evolution directly.
Think about what you just asked. Humans are only 100,000 years old. Why didn’t civilization pop out of nowhere and instead gradually develop, technology increasing exponentially? Uh, because it ain’t magic. Because everything builds on what we knew before. If current civilization was wiped out we’d be back to middle ages technology because most of us don’t understand how anything really works. You fundies would be living in caves.
"There were NO planes, cars, computers, refrigerators, electricity, lights, gas, powered-equipment, telephones, recording devices, CD players, MP3 players, electric razors, televisions, record players, movie cameras, or a million other modern technological inventions–just a mere 170 years ago."
exactly, and we’ve had the bible for 2,000 years so what was the hold up in the intervening 1830 years?
You have no idea…
…So much has been destroyed by your church and your ‘inquisition’.
There is more to humankind than your relatively young faith.
http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg20527481.200-the-writing-on-the-cave-wall.html
Technology is a very recent development in humanity’s evolution. Technology didn’t occur before now because mankind had not evolved to this point in our evolution yet… I think your argument is actually an observation in support of human evolution in action.
Evolution is about biology idiot.
Technological development has nothing to do with evolution other than the evolution that got us here in the first place.
Evolution takes 100,000 years, not 1000 years.
Each advance we make in technology opens up new technologies. why does it take so long? Cause we didn’t have teh science in place to find new things.
oh, you can thank SCIENCE not your god, for the computer you are yapping on.
We did not progress fast enough because back then scientists and other scholars were burn at the stake for suggesting anything that not in accordance with the religious followers.
They did discover ink thousands of years ago. At least 32 thousand years ago. It was used to paint on cave wall.s
The reason why technological advancement has snowballed is because of writing. Shared knowledge that can be easily passed from one generation to the next. The reason there’s writing is because people formed permament settlements and were able to store food, which needed symbols to identify what was in what jar. And clay on which you could write relatively easily. Settlements happened at the end of the last mini ice age when agriculture became feasable to a bunch of bumbling hunter gatherers who weren’t to fond of having to move their houses constantly in order to get game and plants.
The agricultural revolution, permement settlements, and writing were already underway before 4000 BCE. People had even worshipped a pagan god that would eventually be adapted into the one-god of Abrahamic religions, over a thousand years before 4000 BCE.
That’s your argument? Really?? Really???
Let me ask you one question. There is a town in the middle east that you might have heard of called Jericho. It’s mentioned more than once in the bible. Archeologists tell us that Jericho was first settled 11,000 years ago. How do you reconcile that with a 6,000 year old earth?
the first intelligent question asked by a creationist in a while on here.
the reason technology advanced so quickly in the 20th century was because of the discovery of the science of quantum mechanics. quantum mechanics was responsible for the creation of : household computers, laser pointers, other lasers (CD, printer, etc.) , integrated circuits (these are used in all digital devices and nearly all electronic devices), LEDs, etc.
I actually dont know the answer , but i bet it has to do with an increase in the standard of living which enabled people to spend more time on nature, inventing, philosophy, etc. because the standard of living increased enough to allow humans to work on things other than hunting-gathering and survival.my best guess for the cause of this increase in standard of living is that humans were able to organize into larger more advanced societies where survival was easier (people no longer lived "in the wild") and hunting and gathering was no longer the only way to feed your family ( agriculture and farming reduces the need for hunting and gathering , living near a river such as the Nile also gives easier access to water and food). sadly there are many people in this world who are still living in primitive societies and tribes (some groups in Africa and some tribes in the world have not even seen technology because they are so isolated)
Childish, immature and ridiculous bunch of nonsense.
That is a good point on how much knowledge has increased in such a short space of time. However, there is a lot of stuff floating around today that is exceptionally suspect. I was looking into evolution versus creation, and discovered a good web page where questions can be answered by intelligent scientific minds that are both christian and academic. It is a very interesting site that answers so many questions. I believe it was: http://www.answersingenisis.org/go/proof
I challenge any open minded person out there to take a look, after all to make an intelligent decision about anything one should always look at both sides of the opposing thoughts. The problem today lies in the fact that people develop selective hearing, and take the popular majority argument, and run with it. It is popular today to not retain any thought of God (unless the ground starts moving beneath ones feet, or the mountain above begins to crack open, or the torrents of muddy water cascade at devastating speed towards a town or city or the banking crisis hits). I’m not saying it is the case, but perhaps God is trying to get some peoples attention, and trying to get them to read The Book (Bible). Eternity is a long time, and He doesn’t want anyone to spend it in hell (there I’ve said the word).
I personally think that in the majority of cases the lecturers at universities throughout much of the world utter these erroneous proofs to their victims using some of the following techniques:
a) They ‘parrot’ what they have been taught without really checking it out.
b) They have a closed mind with the intense objective, regardless of obstacles to their arguments, to arrive at absolute proof of their theories.
c) They are purveyors of unsound thought, not wanting to get anywhere near to God; the thought of a Creator absolutely terrifies them.
d) They generally silence any student who believes in God by clever ridicule.
e) They over emphasise unproven theory, and disregard proved laws of science, such as the law of thermodynamics.
There is true science, and then there is science falsely so called (1 Timothy 6:20)
Regarding time frames, we read where Peter The Apostle (2 Peter 3:8) reminds us that God’s timing of things is really beyond our comprehension.
You really do need a CAT scan.
There were batteries 3000 years ago in Iraq. Mari, a city built almost 4000 years ago was as modern as most modern cities up to the late 1800’s. The Sumerians had many advanced items, including a detailed awareness of the solar system some of which modern man did not discover until the 1970’s. Sanskrit writings 2500 years old talk about high speed aircraft and how they need to maneuver under high speed encounters with other aircraft. That you have no idea about which you speak is not surprising since you appear to have little knowledge except the bible.
Technologies are the application of science. Science has evolute too. Its just that you can’t understand that.
Advanced science back millions of years ago were things like how to use a rock to crack a nut. How animal furs could keep you warm. What was modern back then is not modern today.
