I need help buying a record player?
I have a record player that is a big black box thing, but it doesn't work very well. I also know that bad quality record players can destroy records. So I'm looking for a good quality record player without an entire stereo system. The records I have are mostly 33 rpm's.

Its true that bad quality record players can destroy records. We can find record players, as in a range from $10 to $2,000. When you search the web, search for ‘turntable’ rather than ‘record players’. I have an Americal Audio DJ turntable (HTD_4.5) which is awesome, but its expensive. The other one that i have is a Denon (http://www.usa.denon.com/ProductDetails/529.asp), which is really value for money. I don’t know from where is your location so I cant tell you from where you can buy it. i am in Dubai, a wide variety is available here.
I suggest ebay.com you can sell your old, worn one and buy a newer one.
