how to record and burn a video onto a dvd using a macbook?
I figured out how to record a video using iMovie HD, but when I try to burn it onto a dvd it says it will just burn a copy of the project but it wont be viewable as a movie on a dvd player. Even when I tried thar, it said my project was too big. It's about 45 minutes. How can i turn my project into something I can watch on a dvd player?

By using iDVD. It is one of the bundled iLife applications - along with iMovie, iPhoto, GrageBand…
When you are in iMovie - with that video project window open, there will be a "Burn" icon in the lower right if you are using pre-’08… If you are using ‘08 or ‘09, up on the command line, select Share to DVD…
Or if you save/export the iMovie project as a high quality MOV video file, you can launch iDVD by itself and drag that video file into iDVD… then burn it…
