If you've got a DVD ROM + RW drive (thats DVD reader + Burner) on your PC, then you could use a burning program such as NERO Start Smart or some other editions of NERO....Or u can also use INTER VIDEO MEDIA ONE for burning CDs as well as DVDs..
But it would be better if you use the program that came bundled along with your CD or DVD drive.....
Anyway, u can get the free downloads of these Burning programs at www.download.com and www.softpedia.com..
You can download these programs and then follow the instructions...such as first select the type of disc you want to burn , a CD or a DVD, in your case its a DVD, so select the DVD as the disc you want to burn, then the next step is to make it a VIDEO DVD DISC such that you can play the DVD in your home DVD player as well as your PC, so select the option of making it a video disc, then select the files you would like to burn or write to the DVD, then click on the start burning button, the you're done..You'll have a DVD disc that you'll be able to play on your DVD player.
Burning( or writing or recording) to a RW disc is the same as burning a R disc, whether its a CD or DVD, it is the same...
The difference is that a RW disc aloows you to record data on it multiple times as many times as you want, but in the case of a R disc(a CD or DVD), once you record data on it, it is permanent, you cannot erase or delete it..whereas in a RW disc, you can record data and erase it, and then again record it, and again erase it...and so on.....
