How much should I sell my……. for?
I have a 95' blue Chevy Lumina. I'm wondering how much I should try to sell it for.It has damage to the passenger front side, and the inside isn't that great, the people I bought it from didn't keep it very clean. It drives good but as of right now, it has a dead battery. I used Kelly Blue Book but it gave me the price for excellent. Oh, everything is power, power windows, locks, steering. Has a radio that works well and a cassette player. That's an antique!!! But ya. Please consider the economy and the damages and give me the best price. Thank you so much!
It’s almost impossible to appraise a car without seeing it but from your description, body damage and a shabby interior even if it runs well my guess is you might get $500. Even in outstanding condition: perfect paint, nice interior, no damage a 15 year old car wouldn’t be worth much more than more than $1,000. How much would it cost to fix your car up to that condition? Probably more than $1,000. So although your car might run fine your car is only worth something to someone who needs some wheels to get around and doesn’t really care what it looks like. If they cared they’d look for a nice one for a few hundred more.
I’d say ask $750 and be prepared to negotiate.
ask $1200 for it. Take the best offer.
