How do you record internet radio onto an ipod / mp3 player?
I am unsure how to record straight from an internet radio website onto my laptop to transfer to my ipod. Are there any good free programs that I should use? or is it possible to do it without a program?

It’s not possible for now. But the iPhone OS 4 coming out on Summer will enable your iPod Touch to have radio.
Have a look at a program called mplayer at http://www.mplayerhq.hu/
it is a command line program, it will be able to stream audio and video in to a file
