How do I record audio to my computer from a tape deck?
I want to record audio from a tape player to my computer. I have the cable to go to and from but I dont know what program to use to record this on my computer. Can anyone help? Thanks

there is a free recorder in windows. If you can use the tape deck, you can use the recorder… its got the same buttons. To convert the sound file, first record the whole thing, with the recorder window still open click on files, properties, and then click the "convert now" button.
to get to the sound recorder:
1. click start
2. go to all programs
3. go to accessories
4. go to entertainment
5. click sound recorder.
have fun
mp3 record all
try Jetaudio
choose Recording then check "Line In" box
the recording format will be "wav" or "wma"
convert it to mp3
Just plug it into the microphone and use any voice recording program..
I think you should just download the same songs on your computer, I don’t know if there is a way.
