i have over 1100 record albums (vinyl). i like a variety of music, everything from heavy metal to classical to easy listening spanish. it depends on your tastes, what do you like?
if you're going to buy vinyl there are a few things to remember:
1. condition of the record...scratched, warped, heat damage, etc.
2. 1st issue, re-issue
3. condition of album cover (some covers are more valuable than the record inside)
4. the artist(s)
5. the label (who or which company issued the album).
i get my "vintage" vinyl at yard sales, flea markets, thrift stores and a place called: Krazy Kat CD's Tapes & Records
9012-A Central Av SE Albuquerque NM (505) 294-5644 i've been buying from them for almost 30 years now..(god, i'm getting old!)
