Does anyone know anything about old stereo’s (record player, 8 track, radio)?
I bought this stereo for a dollar at goodwill..when i plugged it in, the turntable works fine, but the whole bottom half (8track and radio) don't work. won't do anything (not even light up)...that doesn't really bother me though..what bothers me is that i plugged a speaker into the speaker holes and it just makes a horrid static sound. so i plugged it into the audio and that works, but it has horrible feedback and isn't very loud...so i am wondering if there is any way to get this lil guy fixed??? below is a website with the same exact stero...thanks...

It’s so hard to troubleshoot something like that over the web. There are so many variables. But odds are, someone dumped it because it didn’t work. If it did, they would have sold it online for some money. (It’s weird how all these old electronics still fetch some dough)
Just tinker with it and see if you can isolate the problem. If there is a lot of static, or you can get the audio to sort of work, then maybe there are just some loose connections.
Like I said…hard to diagnose or give a suggestion without playing with the thing myself.
Good Luck!
