I'm having the same problem because I have a Curtis-Mathes from 1964. The only real help I've found is through local TV repair shops...these people live and breathe TVs and sometimes, they are second and third generation TV repairmen who have worked on these sets. If I couldnt find what info I needed on the web, I'd start calling local shops. Good luck.
