I'm wondering how I can connect an iPod to a DJ mixer. would I just use an 1/8 inch to RCA cord or is there some other way? I'm just looking to get the best quality

I have an old zenith genuine stylus stereo, and the turntable is not working. It will turn somewhat, but it is very slow. I don't know if it's a motor in there that's going out or a belt. Is there anywhere where I could find a replacement turntable or replacement parts for this one?

I see a lot of amatuer dj carry around loads of cds with them in order to dj. but i've also seen many using just a computer what i want to know is exactly what type equipment and software(s) is needed to do that.
how can you use a hardware dj mixer alongside getting music of your computer rather than carrying cds? how can i crossfade with a computer?

I was spinnin Hard trance the other day, and decided to back spin in some Drum N Bass (Tech Step).. but on Technic 1210 MKIIs, Its kinda hard, being that I dont have a 'reverse'. Im not trying to buy new tables,and Ive searched for a way to put a reverse on my turntables.. Is it possible to add a reverse feature Tech 1210's?

I have a phonograph that has been giving me trouble lately. Right now the turntable is working fine, but it's the arm that is not setting the needle down on the record. Normally, I just push start and it will move the arm over and set the needle down at the first track. Now it moves over but not down. Any ideas on what's wrong with it?

I have removed the bottom of the phonograph twice. I can see a bit of the belt but can't get in there to change it, so I figure I must actually access it from above, not below. But how? I can't get the turntable off and don't want to break anything. Thank you!
I pulled and pulled on the turntable but couldn't get it to come off. I didn't see any screw in the middle at the spindle or anything. I even tried to pry it off with a screwdriver---no luck. How the heck do I get to this thing? Yikes!

I have a NUMARK DXM06 dj mixer and it has 2 1/4" jacks for master volume as well as regular RCA cables. Can i plug powered speakers straight into the 1/4" jacks on the mixer without needing an amp???
