No you can not just burn a video to a DVD and have it play in your DVD player and watch it on your TV. To make a DVD that will work in a standard DVD player it must be "authored". That will convert the files into standard video files that your DVD player can read. One of the simplest authoring programs is NERO. Another one is Roxio. Both of these are good choices for very basic authoring. There are many other more advanced programs available that have many tricks up their sleeves such as custom transitions, adding a sound track or music, and other features to make a professional looking video.

First do you have a DVD burner on the computer, if so then the video would have to be downloaded to the computer from there it should be no problem to burn it onto the the dvd and it would play on the dvd player so you could watch you on the TV.
