No…but you can purchase a DVD RECORDER/PLAYER. Then you can record television programs. The disc needed will depend on the type of DVD RECORDER you purchase (DVD+R, DVD-R) the instruction manual should let you know which one is right.

I’m pretty sure you can record using DVR players, but you might need to buy extra hardware and modify your cable box. Try using PopularScience.com
