I think you want a DVR
No, Who told you that you can do that.
not on a DVD player
you need a DVD recorder.
No…but you can purchase a DVD RECORDER/PLAYER. Then you can record television programs. The disc needed will depend on the type of DVD RECORDER you purchase (DVD+R, DVD-R) the instruction manual should let you know which one is right.
I’m pretty sure you can record using DVR players, but you might need to buy extra hardware and modify your cable box. Try using PopularScience.com
I think they had an article on it. Or google.
they do make DVD-recorders that work like a VCR (i’m not talking about computer burners, but an actual piece of home-theater equipment that looks like a DVD player but works like a VCR). A standard DVD player doesn’t have the technolgy inside of it to write to DVD’s. As far as what kind of DVD…it depends on what DVD-Recorder you get. the types will be listed on the player, however, if you want to be able to use your disc to watch later, then you’ll want to stick with DVD+RW discs…if you get a unit that supports DVD-RAM…while you won’t be able to play these back on a standard DVD player, they do offer you the greatest flexability in recording stuff to DVD. using DVD-R or +R discs will work, and allow you to create DVD’s that work in standard players…but once you write the data to the disc, that’s it, it’s on there.
No i think you would need a DVR recorder to record what you like.
