I’d check the link below. An antiques appraiser might have a difficult time with a radio. There are parts that deteriorate over time. In the radio groups I’ve been in here, the guys are always talking about replacing the tubes, transformers and capacitors to try and get them operating again.
Do you have a picture and a manufacturers name perhaps?
If you have an antiques dealer in your area, they will give you an estimate on it. I did it once with a couple of paintings that were left to my wife in her Great Grandmothers will. They may charge you to do it, but it doesn’t hurt to call and ask.
