Antique radio repair question - Philco 50-620?
I am new to this hobby and was in the process of recapping, and replacing the electrolylics of a philco 50-620. I was almost done except for connecting one neg wire that comes from two electroylics. I lost my place and don't know where it connects to. I have the schmatic but can't follow it
Is there anyone out there I can send a pic of the chasis wiring and the schmatic and help me to figure this out? thoughts?
If it is just the black, or negative wire connection (usually ground), then look around and find a "common ground" area to connect to.
Observe where the other electrolytic caps are grounded to - you may be able to connect to the same area. Any wire that connects to chassis is typically a grounding area. Ground is also often a large perimeter area around circuit board that connects to chassis.
