I am looking for software where i can record on top of previous recordings, whilst listening to these previous recordings (if that makes sense).
Ie. i dont want to have to open up win media player and listen to my first recording, and then record my next recording on top - in a seperate file
Thanks in advance!
a coin falls onto an old fashioned record player, rotating at 45 rpm. the coin lands 6 cm from center. assuming the motion of the record is unaffected by the coins prescence, find a)the coins angular speed in rad/sec and b)its tangential speed in m/s
Anyone know where if I can sell (as an Antique) my Radio Shack TRS-80 Color Computer 2 shipped to me on February 1973. The Computer was virtually never used! If yes, can you give me a location to sell it! Thanks!
I'm sure if you're a D-Wade fan, LeBron fan, Chris Bosh fan, or just a Florida native in general, your answer would be yes. But, I've spoke to several LeBron fans and D-Wade fans before the season even kicked off and everyone seemed to believe that Miami Heat were gonna be the best team in the NBA. Now just because a team have 3 of the best players in the NBA, doesn't mean that they are gonna do a 72-10 record (vintage Bulls). I don't know what's going on but it seems like as soon as KG and Ray Allen came to Boston, they wasted no time getting a ring. At the rate Miami is going, i see them getting knocked out of the Playoffs... hmm maybe second round, and that's just being generous. If they can't beat Boston and the Lakers can, then Miami definitley don't belong in the playoffs. I'm not even a Boston fan. I know it's still too early to make predictions but, what's your thought on Miami Heat based on what you've seen?
Go Lakers!!!
i have windows 7 2.5ghz core 2 quad
and then SAVE it like that.
I know in WMP how to speed up the playback, but I want to save it at like the quicker speed, so I can then play it on a portable player.
I've had two different models, & with both of them, if you play pre-recorded DVD's (RAM), they stop being able/willing to read home-recorded discs (DVD-R). I played a few store discs & now it won't play discs it recorded 2 weeks ago on DVD-R. I've unplugged it for 30 seconds & plugged it back in, but it still won't read them. Help!
Can i actually use the Windows Media Player to record shows from the internet TV? If yes, please tell me how, and what version of Windows Media Player can i use or please give a software or another media player that i can use. Thank you very much.
I took the box apart, the plug ends with 2 colors, a bronze/red and a yellow/tan. Which is hot and which is neutral?
I noticed that the bronze casing had a little string running along beside it. Wouldnt that make it the neutral?
Right now, 100% of my income is from online poker. I cash out ,000 ever 2 weeks or so and have a check mailed to me. I play Sit-n-go tournaments almost exclusively. If you don't know what this is, you basically sign up for a small tournament (between 9 and 45 players), and once enough people have signed up to play, it starts.
My question is, what is the best way to track this for my 2008 tax return? I'm sure ideally I would record every single tournament, but by the end of the year I will have thousands of tournament results, but it seems this is rather tedious for both me and the IRS.
Would it be more effective, or legal for me to simply track the cashout checks? Since I'm working with an out of country company, and the money's not really "mine" until I have a check in hand I thought this might be ok.
Also, I never make deposits (and actually never have, but that's another story) if that makes any difference.
Um... I need a turntable/record player VERY CHEAPLY. I do not care if it's used, really bad. All i want it to do is spin around.
Why? Im using it for my science project. I will only use it once for it, so all i want is cheap one that can spin-yes, it doesnt even have to be able to play music
Could you tell me where i can get a very CHEAP record player?
(maximum - preferably ... Cheaper the better.)
OR
Just tell me something that will WORK like a turntable/record player. No cd player btw. I need to be able to attach something onto the top, so The object will spin round and round.
Maybe im asking for too much... Anyway, thanks
Please help me...I am way behind the curve on my tech knowledge. Now that VCRs are no longer the standard..How do I go about recording a television program to send to my mom in California.
Is there such a thing as DVD recorder? Please tell me what equipment I need to buy and approx what is the cost. I want to record a few programs from Direct TV connection that my mother can watch on a plane using her portable DVD player
Jeez I have no idea what you just said. By the way my pc can only be used for work purposes...So I can do a tv card. Isnt there another option? Something to buy for the television that records off my direct TV connection
Sorry I meant "can't" buy a tv card
I want to record a home video onto my digital camera so I can put it on my computer. I have a A/V cord that lets me output video and pictures from my camera to my TV, but I've been unsuccessful in outputting stuff from my TV to my digital camera. Any tips?
I'm thinking about getting a record player soon. I have zero experience with them. I've heard people talk about the quality advantages that records have, and I'm tired of my low-qual MP3s.
My needs are: a nice player that I can use with headphones, as well as a good speakers system. Budget is important, but definitely the least of my concerns. If I need to save for a bit, I'll gladly do that for better sound.
What brands or specific models should I be looking at? Do I need to buy new, or should I look to craigslist/ebay first?
Thanks for your help.

I'm writing a novel and one of the characters has a machine that can easily be described as a small phonograph. My problem is that, being I am only in my late teens I have little, if any, knowledge on vintage record player parts.
I've looked everywhere but I can't find a proper name for the funnel-like amplifier that sends out the sound in the earliest versions of record players. Anybody know a common name for it?
Also, bonus points if u can come up with a older sounding name for the spinning top than "turntable"
I just got one today and no matter how many times I press Open it does not open ( except twice )
I set it to CD mode, its plugged in, it's on, it's all set.
But it only opens when it wants to open which is rare and annoying too.
the Record player on top plays well but there is something fishy about it, i think 331/2 rpm is a bit too fast.. maybe playing at 36rpm. ( not 45).
Any idea's why the CD player wont open or anyway to fix it? or do i have to cart it back to the store.
I am from a generation of CDs and MP3s, but as i like only 60s music the best, i thought i would buy a record player. can anyone tell me any benefits of using records? even if you cant i will still use them. anyway what i wanted to ask is can i choose what song to play on the record, like place the needle on a different song? on an album, are each set of grooves a new song?
I bought a vcr/dvd player about 3 yrs ago. On SOME tapes and dvd's the color fluctuates between positive/normal image color and images that look like photo negatives. SOME tapes and dvd's play fine.
This happens even with SOME Netflix disks. I HAVE cleaned the laser lens. Neither Netflix nor the manufacturer help lines have had an answer. The dvd's DO play OK on my LAPTOP. Someone suggested the media are recorded by 2 different methods. Help? Suggestions? Explanations?
I remember there used to be a big humongous Virgin Record store at a mall I normally go to, but it's no longer there anymore.
Are record stores going out of business now? Do people no longer buy CD's anymore?
I need mini dv deck for home use only so i can record my home videos. My budget is 0 and below.
I recently got a record player and i am looking to purchase some 45`s.. I like classical stuff like beethoven, but also catchy stuff like the beatles twist and shout and the boys are back in town any suggestions?
I was looking for a karaoke machine and came upon the website www.i-sing.com. It is a portable Mp3 karaoke player that allows you to play, display, sing, and record all at the same time. It takes the lead vocals out of the track too! It sounds really cool. Anyone hear of it?
I have The Mighty Boosh dvds from England, and they're code 2, so I have a code-free dvd player. It's hooked up to my tv/vcr combo. I can't use those dvds in anything else, and I don't know if it's possible to tape them on vhs from there. Any ideas?
The radio is from the 50's and the cord is completely frayed. Can anyone give me good directions or direct me to a good video? My electrical experience consists of hanging a couple light fixtures...thanks
