I remember that it had something to do with one of those antique radios, the old wooden dome shaped one. When someone listened to the music, they became very menacing. Also, the scene was set around a mental hospital.
I saw it on tv about 20 years ago.
I remember a female doctor was listening to the radio, then I remember she was pushing some guy down a hallway in the hospital, and shoved him in a room where some freaky long-haired thing attacked him.

Let's say you are using the Samsung DVDR135 and a typcial DVD-R disc (say Ritek)
I just ask as I am thinking about buying this drive to copy TV shows for friends, they have a regular DVD player.
Thanks
Please recommend me some records that you feel are a good combination of both...or great examples of either.
Also, If you go to gigs...What do you think of Producer live performances?
Morbid - LMFAO. Co-sign. The worst is when one of them tries to over vibe to his own beat and looks drunk. I'm seeing Wax Tailor and DJ Vadim with live bands next week, I'll let you know how it turns out..

I was wondering if there was a way to convert my records to my computer and/or cd. I have a Crosley Rochester record player. There is no line out on the machine. Is there an alternative way to transfer the music? Here is a link to the record player I own

a 33 1/3 rpm record on a turn table uniformly reaches its operating speed in 2.45 sec once the record player is turned on.
A)what is the angular distance traveled during this time
B)what is the corresponding arc length in ft. in the circumference of a 12-inch diameter record?
i need to know how to do this for a test tomorrow, would appreciate ur help very ,much so i don't fail
I'm just interested in selling this antique Sears FM-Am Stereo Radio Phonograph, it is an old model 7070 Spanish Style. I still have the original owner's manual. How much would you think I'd be able to sell it for?
I'm not too savy when it comes to turntables, but I'd like to get one that doesn't need seperate speakers. I'd like one that has them built in, and I don't want any modern players with it (cd/ipod) just a plain ole record player. Where would be the best place to find one, antique stores, ebay, craigslist, and what do I search/ask for?
I have tried to record music using the data option on windows and when I play it in my car it says bad disc. I don't understand. Do I need to use another program other than windows media player to record the cd?
Bobby socks, black suede penny loafers or Ivy League black & white oxfords? Sock hops, duck tail haircuts or ponytails, starched collars worn up to look cool, tiny little plastic colored clothespin worn on the collars? And Rock & roll music on a 45 RPM record played on a small record player? (sigh, the good times todays teens missed out on.) What memory stands out in your mind?
Ivy League oxford had the buckle on the back of the heel. If you wore the buckle open it meant you weren't going steady with anyone.
I need to know where I could figure out more about turntablism.
I recently bought guitar hero world tour for x box 360 and upon inspecting the drum set I realized that there is a midi out port on the front side of the set. I know the set can be used to record tracks on the guitar hero game, but could it be used as a midi player to record live tracks on a program like garage band or pro tools?
thanks just making sure.
its a crosley
it says i have an option of 33, 45, and 78 rpm.
will the big records still play and fit on my player? will i just have to put it on 45rpm and it will work?
- Somebody in the media will come out with the strongest evidence yet that Bonds has been using steroids.
- Bonds will announce his retirement, saying he knows he could break the record, but doesn't want to offend Hank Aaron.
- Other players will say what Curt Schilling said this week - that Bonds has been using steroids.
- Something else?
I bought a used record player and have no idea how to use it. There is one piece that looks like it snapped where the needle and its casing meets the arm. It sort of just hangs there with wire exposed. Would I be able to super glue the two pieces together? Right now there is a long arm like this --------- and a hockey puck shaped piece with the needle under it like this ---/ How exactly do I use this player? Its a changer, so it holds 6 records at a time. I put the records on it and turned the start switch. A record dropped, but the arm didnt move. Are they supposed to move or am I supposed to manually put the needle on the vinyl? I tried it and it played, but because it was hanging, it skipped at places. I notice when I play with the volume dial, it works but its extremely static (the speakers). How do I adjust this? Also, will the vinyl having some dust effect how it plays. Its not horrible but I was wondering if that would make a big difference because it seems they get dusty easily. I would like to get this thing working myself instead of taking it somewhere to be repaired. Thanks for all of the help!
It plays all lengths and speeds and its an older set from the 70s...I ended up supergluing the stylus back onto the tone arm and it automatically starts and drops onto the proper place on the record now. Thanks !
I am looking to buy a turntable, a record player. I know I am several decades too late it is just something I want. Does anyone have any suggestions? Anything specific too look for? I know there are different sizes of vinyls but all I ever see in record stores are the big ones I dont know what size that is, I think the small ones are 45's but do I need a special turntable for different sizes or what. I am kinda stumblin round in the dark.
I'm in a band and we are looking for a somewhat affordable and easy way to record our gigs. We have a guy with a mixer and all that, but we want something easier to do at every show. Any ideas on how we could record the shows? The idea we are going for is similar to having an old school cassette player in the audience somewhere, only we want one that records as mp3's or onto cd.
Back in the day, my grandma crocheted doilies, emproidered doilies, and used doilies on the chairs, tables and anyplace flat. They used doilies on "Happy Days".
Do you remember them being starched? The ruffles all poked up all around, then you'd put a candy dish or lamp on it to protect the furniture.
If you still have them, where are they?
I have one on top of an antique radio (bulbs, remember taking them to the market to be tested on their machines), one under my grandmas hopechest (remember those), the rest have sit in a drawer.
It's sad to me that the old, beautiful, handmade items are not appreciated as much these days. My kid sure doesn't want anything to do with them.
