I recorded this on my cheap MP3 Player's mic, and used my speakers to get a beat in the background. The quality is really bad but I just wanted to see how it would come out. Tell me what you think and be honest.

i'm trying to spit quiet, so i'm holding back my voice. but really i don't know if that's the problem or it just my voice. and a little bit the mic distortion.
i'm mixed. i said ni99a so i figured that would be some indication that i wasn't white.
Bonds will break hanks record sometime this year. He will play next year and hit another 20 homers or so and finish around 775.
I think the next player after that to come close to it will be Ken griffey jr. Jr has 575 right now and is swinging the bat. If jr ends up around 600 by they end of the year and hits 40 next year he will be sitting around 640 or so. I think jr could break the record if he sticks around for at least 5 more years or so. I think its up to him and only time will tell. Id say probaly not cause hes been playing since he was 19. Then again he loves the game. with jr its all about if he wants it enough to go for it. If he does then he can still break it.
However none of that matters cause 10 years from now the home run champion will be a-rod. He will smash that record if he stays healthy then it does not matter what bonds does. That record is history.
Any one agree or disagree with me?
There is also no mic jack...
Im looking for a very basic player. A friend of mine bought one for 25 dollars on sale, and it basically plays the record, but to hear the audio you just plug in the two simple cables (red and white) to an audio source (like a tv input or stereo)
Ive found similar products but they go for around 100 dollars
Thinking of buying it, but I'm not sure if it would be good or not.
I have some old records i want to sell on ebay. How do i know if they are 33 or 45? i dont have a player
I have an old ELAC miracord 760 turntable, the mechanisms for on/off arent working. I'm not sure how they are spose to look, but one of them looks bent.
Is there a place where I can see the diagram of these mechanisms online for free? I really cant be bothered to pay for a sheet of paper for a record player.
Thanks!!!
thanks
I dont see any pulley type mechanism. ive tried to get a feel for how these items are suppose to work but I don't get it. It's not a big deal, theres always the plug. lol
im not rele sure about how the auto run is spose to work either, or how to engage it. Oh well. lol
Yep you are right... it is the idler wheel thing... i dont see the pulley so it must be in there where i cant see it. This thing is crazy, I look at it for hours and I don't understand how all the metal pieces are spose to link up. Even more baffling to me is how the mechanism only engages when the platter is on, but the platter has no locking mechanism, its just dead weight!! It's like black magic lol.
One of the pieces in this gadgetry was definitely out of place because it was rubbing against the silver rim and making noise/drag. I am taking a picture and will post you the link for it, maybe you can determine whats wrong? lol. that would be awesome. also I'll take a pic at where the cartridge is spose to be, its all missing so can you telll me whats missing? this is fun, you are very helpful lol! oh yeh and by the way, the motor seems fine, even the 78rpm spins at the correct speed when adjusted on the pitch control.
OH yeh and one more thing.. the platter is stamped "9 Jan. 1974"
hi i have a vintage fisher studio select turntable
i just got this off cl but i herd it work and was stupid enough no to pay attention when the guy unhooked it and know im lost.
what has me confused is that there is what seems to be a ground coming off the negative RCA cable and there is also a laminated pair of wires that has a plastic cap and a screw hole in the top and the two wires are soddered together i have no idea what these are for
any help would be appriciated
thanks
I dont need it to download music or watch videos - I would like to find a good quality product that would download a wide variety of common podcast files, and have a reasonable battery and recording capacity (say 10 hours plus). I dont want to go overboard and pay too much to get something with features I dont want.
The phone is an antique reproduction from Pottery Barn. We didn't have this problem with our old phone. The voices are a mix of people on other lines and what sounds like a radio announcer.
I recently got some new software. It came on a mini disc. You know, a CD-ROM, just small. Well, my computer won't read it. The disc spins, I can hear it. But Windows says that nothing is in the drive. And, just so you know, I don't have a crappy computer. It's pretty new. It seems to me that the laser isn't reading the disc, but that doesn't make any sense. There's a space in the disc holder thing for a mini-disc. What's going on and how can I fix it?
For the record, the software is for my brand new (just got it not 4 hours ago) Sony Walkman MP3 player (The model is NWZ-E436F). I know I don't need this software to import my stuff onto it, but it's rather annoying. It's not just this disc either. I previously got some drivers for a USB data cable to import stuff to my LG phone (I forget the model) on a mini-disc. It didn't read it either. I thought it was a fluke, a bad disc. But this just proves to me that my computer has a problem with mini-discs.
I know this is long, but please help!
I have a RCA HD TV, SV 2000 digital dvd/vcr player,Apex digital home theater system, directv cable box, and a Liteon dvd recorder. I have not been able to connect them since I got them a year ago.I was told I had to buy a dvd recorder in order to record movies I watched on cable because the SV 2000 was just for playing. Can you tell me,(the absolutely not technically inclined person) in simple terms how to connect these componants? Thanks, tgoree75785
well, i am allowed to cheat.
I have about:
10 speakers
3 old tube tv's
2 receivers
and a record player
These items are at least 30-40 years old
What can I do with them, where can I sell them, do they still have some monetary value, donate them....etc? Any comments and suggestions are welcome.
Sorry I needed to correct the previous details:

I remember 2 dudes from India singing something bout a handful of quarters or a spoonful of sugar on their 45s, referencing a 45 record player... Band name was Cornerstore? Barely remember this so cuss me out LOL its a challenge for sure...
It's a 1948 model 48-475. I know that there were only around five thousand of them made. And the original asking price in 1948 was around 0.00. The condition is very good, and has never been restored.
My vintage record player sounds funny, like it is warped. It plays normal-slow-normal-slow. If I can find someone to repair it will it be expensive? and can it even be repaired? I really miss listening to my old records.
I'm in desperate need of help on this subject, since I'm in a tight bind to get video off of one of those little DVDs for a project due soon. If I can at least get it to appear on a TV screen, I have a capture card that will save whatever is on the screen as a video file on my PC.
Do I need any special soft/hardware for this conversion?
My fiance has started to collect records and as a wedding gift I would like to get him a nice record player. What type of details do I need to look for? He mentioned USB so he could put the music on his computer. I've looked at Target and they have quite a few from the brand "Crosley" is that a good brand? Thanks for the help!
Check it out:

Over a 22-season career, he has ONE home run, only TWENTY runs scored (less than one per season, LOL!) and only 78 hits! And this is all based on 625 at bats! Clearly, managers tried their best to keep him away from the plate.
How can he truly be considered a good BASEBALL player (as opposed to merely a good PITCHER) with such pathetic hitting stats?
My parents bought this in 1974. It's pressed wood and the top layer of vinyl covering the pressed wood is peeling off. How can I restore this. I would really like to keep it. I can't bring myself to throw it out. I know the radio/record player can be fixed pretty easily.
This is the one where people are participating in a "horse race" to catch an antique radio.
Here are some of the bigger names...
Dean Martin - Change of Heart/Memories are made of this
Capitol Records
Fats Domino - I can't go on/Poor me

Thanks everyone, if you know a site that helps out with this, that would be great too.
