I'm wanting to record a livestream...I notice in VLC Media Player there are some options which may allow me to do this but I am unsure what to do. Any help? Thanks!

I was given an entry level ION USB record player for Xmas. Since then, I have invested in some new vinyl records. Although I'm happy with the player, I was wondering if I can make it sound even better with a new catridge. I was looking to buy the Shure M97xE High-Performance Magnetic Phono Cartridge. Will this improve the sound, or is it just a waste of money?
I assume that it does. I also assume that it does not include any exhibition or spring training games.
But here comes my real question.
Can the single-season home run record include postseason home runs?
I believe Babe got his 60 in regular season (154 games), Marris got his 61 in regular season (162 games), and that McGwire and Bonds got their records in the regular season also.
But suppose someone tied Bonds at 73 on the last day of the season and then continued on to the playoffs and World Series to get several more. Would that player be considered the single-season home run king or would he remain tied with Bonds in the record books? Or would he get credit for first place but then get an asterisk beside his name indicating that some HRs came in the postseason?
I figured the single-season record would not include post-season but thought it was an interesting predicament given the possibility of someone hitting more than 73 in postseason, so I asked.
But some of you are disagreeing on career home runs. Does THAT include postseason. I would think it does. Can anyone cite some evidence for their answer?
I just bought an antique radio at a flea market it is a general eletric tube radio in a wood cabinet stands about 4 feet tall there is a sticker on the inside that list the different tubes and it gives a number F135 can anyone tell me how to get information on this radio
My mother just got me the record player I want in an antique shop on Canery Row in Monterey, CA. She was so impatient to give it to me, because it was meant to be a x-mas gift. So she has me play 21 questions. Finally after 22 questions, she said, "I'll give you another hint. I swear girl! If you don't get this, you are a total Jessica Simpson! Here it is: it's old school." By this point I'm doing summersaults, because it's a red, mint-condition Coca Cola record player. It's mine! At last! So my question is:
Which records should I get? I already have a looooooooooooooooong list. Any suggestions?
In all the videos I have ever seen that teach turntablism, hand dominance is never mentioned. I've had my tables for over a year now and haven't really gotten into it. If I knew how to do it properly I think I would get more involved. So my question is, for a right handed person, does the right (dominant) hand move the record, or does it control the crossfader?
Thanks!
I'm looking for a good record player just to start off a collection. My budget is super low so less that 0. And side question what kind of stereo system do I need to have for a record player?

Trying to turn my old cassettes into mp3 via my computer through a cassette player (boombox) keep buying wrong connection perhaps? I bought a 1.8M stereo mini cable. I have realaudio but not usb on my audio device?
I have a Rane ttm-56 mixer and the crossfader was always smooth. I have not used it in a year and now it's not sliding smoothly it feels like it needs oil. What caused it to be like this?
I recently bought an antique Airline/Montgomery Ward Radio/Record Player.
Its pretty old(uses tubes) and obviously doesn't have a grounded cord.
Problem with it is that sometimes if I touch the player it gives me a bit of a shock, not bad or anything, yet. Is it just grounding through me? Ive noticed that it does it most often if I touch the player then touch another object.
What do I need to do to fix this thing so its not so dangerous?
Sorry the information is a bit vague, if you need any other details just ask!
Thanks!!!
It only does it when its plugged in and I touch the metal parts of the player.
I dont have a voltmeter but I do have a test light, I will try that.
I will also check the wire insulation inside.
Thanks for the help!
My hobby is collecting vintage record players and 45's
Does anyone out there remember 45's? We would play them on a record player. Before playing them we had to pop a circular disk in the center hole as the spindle on the player was thin for 33s and 78s. I am speaking about the flat individual ones, not a stacker. DOES ANYONE REMEMBER WHAT WE CALLED THEM?
