I bought this player about a year and a half ago and I never really used it but one day it just stopped spinning and no matter what I do I can't get it to work.
I have an old antique radio in my house and im pretty sure it has all its components. my sister told me she listened to it when it was at my grandmothers house about a decade ago and it worked then. I know the company was very prestigious and closed in the 40's but I wont take the time to sell it unless it's worth something.
I've wondered about this for quite some time now and don't really know much about the players. Did they ever make crankers that played 33 or 45? Can it be easily modified to play at another speed?
It isn't in mint condition, it's vintage. I got it when I was 4 1991. My mom has kept it put up for me, and I wasn't sure how much I might be able to get for it. I appreciate the help!! Thanks
I'm not cold-hearted, it's a legitimate question. I have respect for the person, it's just I've had it for 19 years, and it's a collectible that would make someone else happy to have.
I'm looking to buy a home theater system and the one i'm looking at only has a Coaxial Digital Audio input. However, I want to connect my record player to it, which uses a stereo audio cable (one from the record player to the phono preamp, and another from the preamp to receiver. Is there such a cable that can convert/connect the stereo output of the phono preamp to the coaxial digital audio input of the home theater?
Can i actually use the Windows Media Player to view(watch) and record shows from the internet TV? If yes, please tell me how, and what version of Windows Media Player can i use or please give a software or another media player that i can use. Thank you very much.
For instance, rather than buying a new CD deck for my car, would it be smarter to just buy a portable DVD player, and record my music to DVD (in order to hold much more songs per disc). Do most portable DVD systems play audio-only discs? or am i way off track? lol
I had a gig this past weekend and I didnt have the proper cables to connect to the amplifier and speakers. They only had Aux and quarter inch in and outputs. Do I need adapters?
My parents gave me a 1920's-1930's bedroom set that belonged to my great grandparents. I have all the pieces, vanity...original seat, etc. The most amazing piece is the bed with a WORKING turbe radio in the headboard. Has anyone ever seen such a thing? I can't keep it in my house, but it seems to be such an oddity, I was thinking of hanging on to it. If it's valuable, I can't simply throw it in the shed. If it's more common than I realized, then I might just sell it off. Anyone seen one or know where I can find out more info? Thanks!
The radio does work. We replaced the tube in it.
So I've been taking super good care of my record player and today I went to put a record in and noticed that the needle wasnt there. It broke off! And I didnt do anything with it! So now I don't know what to do. Help and un-rude comments are appreciated
Multireader Laser Product Disc Drive? Can I record on CD's with it, if I replace it with my DVD PC Player?
When I play records it's going slower than normal. This happens if it's on 45 or 33. Has it broke?
Pencil sharpeners were made in this set to resemble antique home appliances and other objects. Some were ovens, record players, cars, lamps, pianos, trucks, etc. However, I cannot figure out what object the sharpener I have is. What is it? Here is a picture.

I am trying to hook up my dvd player to my dvd recorder and I can't get it to work! I already tried hooking the dvd player "out" to the recorder "in" and the recorder "out" to the tv's "in" but when I push play on the dvd player and record on the dvd player, it says "no signal". Please help! I'm getting so frustrated!
Ok, so I really want a vintage record player, and I;ve been looking on eBay for some. I know NOTHING about them. How come some records are big and some are small? Do all records play on all record players?
I want to know everything. I need a hobby, and this seems cool. I want to collect records. Tell me everything.

a) at the end of the record.
