Someone said he was one of the owners and ive heard someone say that its Raoul (because when he sees that couple kissing he thinks of Christine and Raoul when they kiss, and only Raoul and Christine would know that, right?)..does anyone know for sure who it is supposed to be?

im really into old records and my grandmother has soo many 45 records and she sold her record player 5 years ago...so i am looking for a 45 rpm record player. do you know where i can find one?
The record player has two plugs coming out of it for the stock speakers it came with. You can unplug them and the speakers come free. The speakers are old and damaged but the record player it self works fine so I was wondering if I can get the sound to come through better speakers. But the wire to connect them is shorter and fatter compared to modern day head phones.

I just purchased a silver-tone console stereo/record player. not sure what year it is. but it's in beautiful shape except the turn table does not spin. any info would be greatly appreciated thanks jim w
I've been trying to use a record player that's been sitting around my house just for the novelty of it (I'm 16) and i can figure out how to get the table to rotate but the needle doesn't seem to be "out" and I can't figure out how to get it out. I don't know if the needle is just broken or if it hides in the top of that arm thing. Any tips would be apprecitated.
Thanks,
Pat
Can I make my computer into a DJ mixer as in sending one audio signal to some headphones and another one to the speakers, so that I can use with a virtual DJ software such as Traktor? If you know of a certain software or hardware other than a mixer (let's say a soundboard) that could help me feel free to post!
I had a Samsung DVD player / recorder but it got screwed IDK why!!! never put a clone disc in it, only use it for recording @ Samsung they told me it was the loader and the laser system that records (cause it didn't record anymore but still was able to play discs) So, I bought a new DVD Recorder / Player, its LG, it was cheaper than have the other change all the laser and recording hardware and I lend the "messed one" to a friend who's having a bit of $$$ trouble, so his kid could watch some movies this vacation. My question is: Will play in my brand new LG DVD Recorder DVD-R discs that I recorded in the Samsung player mess it, cause I still don't know what messed the other recorder and I'm sure I don't wanna mess the new DVD player / rec. BTW: The discs I'm talking about are finalized but I don't have other player that takes DVD-R discs other than the new recorder and I know I can ask my friend for the Samsung but I don't wanna be an indian giver (WITH ALL DUE RESPECT TO NATIVE-US)
Well I pre-ordered this whole package thing from one of my favorite bands, and it comes with a nice autographed vinyl. And I was also thinking about buying another vinyl record from another favortie band of mine. I would like to listen to these, instead of just having them hang on a wall or something. Where could I buy a record player thats in good condition? What would be the price range???
If I can find a pattern or see an old photograph with the grill on the c.1915 floor phonograph, I can make one.
i dont know anything about record players, but i want to get one.
if i wanted a player that will last a long time and have good quality which should i get?
A 35-cm-diameter phonograph record is dropped onto a turntable being driven at 33 1/3.
If the coefficient of friction between the record and turntable is 0.20, how far will the turntable rotate between the time when the record first contacts it and when the record is rotating at the full 33 1/3 Assume that the record is a homogeneous disk. (do an integral to calculate the torque.)
I have my father's old record player but the needle is broke. The names Gran Prix and BSR are on the lid, case, and the black thing that spins. The needle has a white thing that sticks out that you can flip to the other side. on one side it says LP and on the other it says 5HS - 78.
Help???
could you also tell me how to find what to type in to search for?
id like to know all the songs that played on the record player in the movie. title and artist would be great. thanks!
I want to record a radio show that is being broadcast on the internet. It plays using Real Player. How do I record it to CD? I can't find anything in the drop down menus.
The only record player combos I can find are those retro looking low quality Crosleys and I don't think the TEACs are much better. Do you think any one will make a high quality unit now that LPs are making a comeback?
I am not concerned with "78" records, this is different.
What are the "38s Players" and when were they used?
Please send links to pictures of them if possible.
Also, I was wondering, would it have been possible (if a 38s Player is what I think it is) to separate the "wooden box part" from the rest of the player in order to store things in the box?
What kinds of these players might have existed in England, especially?
Thank you!
maybe a "dictaphone" for taking down voice?
I just saw a website for a modern dictaphone that records "approximately 38 minutes." It's possible that this might have been referred to as a "38s player". I wonder if the ideas and time periods were confused?
I no longer have a record player and have found a rare track on 7" vinyl I want as an mp3. Is there a place that will do this for me, without me having to buy specialist equipment that I will only use once?
I am afraid that if I get rid of them that I may want to listlen to them some other time but they have been in a box for 2 years and I'm haveing a hard time parting with them
I have one of those old school HUUUUGE record players-in-a-cabinet. I need to change the needle to it and I believe I have the right one (looks identical to the old needle...but not 100% sure...). So my question is, should it be pretty easy to change the needle if it is, in fact, the right one? Do I just pull it out...and push the new one in...or do I need to rotate anything...or what?
Looking for a place to repair a 1929 Stromberg Carlson radio that I recently purchased. I live in Merrick, Long Island...anyone know of a repair person????
I've been looking for a record player that is kind of modern that isn't so expensive. What I mean by modern is not those old fashioned wood ones but a metal one.
I have a new-ish record player that just has to get plugged into an outlet and a stereo to work. I wanted to hook it up to work through my tv's speakers, so I plugged it into extra audio ports on the back of the tv. I can't get it to work though. I tried changing the source through the receiver and still cant get it to work on any of them... any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?
