I need to know what kind of DJ mixer i need to buy. I want to play music directly from my laptop, but i want to have that option to play CD's also.

I am going to be using Virtual DJ and/or Atomix MP3.

If you have suggestions on Laptop software let me know also. But i really need to know what kind of DJ Mixer i would need to buy.

I found a 40 year old record player in my garage. I dusted it off and it still works. All it needs is a needle.

Where can I buy a needle for it ?

anywhere about it. I don't know the year or value. Does anyone know where I can find this out, or maybe you had a similar prob in the past and know the answer. It's in a cabinet the short long ones. It also is recent enough it has am and fm stereo. Thanks in advance

I just bought a record player and I am running it through a DVD/receiver. I hooked it up using rca cables but the sound is really quiet and there is no bass. I do not know what I should ground it to. Could that be the problem?

I have an old teddy bear (30 years old) and the music box inside no longer works. I want to replace it but have come up empty when searching for a company to buy these from. Any idea who sells these?

I currently have the RCA cable w/ 1/4" adapter going from the preamp into the 1/4" input located on the back of the computer tower, but no sound is coming out of the computer speakers. Do I need a special driver to recognize the phonograph?

I'm looking for a record player (to play vinyl records) that has nice sound, but isn't too expensive (less than 0). I've checked in some stores nearby, but I'm also looking for some online options.

Thanks!

How do you know your record player needs a new needle?

45 record players
a record player!
not 45 records!
as in rca 45 record PLAYERS!

I have an old radio that needs desparate repair. It's extremely old and British; it's also portable.

When I was a kid, me and my sisiter had this red record player called "Robot Tunes". I think it may have been from Fisher Price, but I cant seem to find it ANYWHERE. Not online, not in vintage toystores, or ebay.

Anyone ever hear of this or know where I might find one?

i bought a record player online and realized after that it said 'great for kids' i thought it was just a cool comic book hero themed record player, but now i think i have something im never going to be able to use. can standard records be played on this?

Who do you think will do it?

My Dad has an old vinyl record player up in our attic that he said yesterday has needed a new needle for years. I was hoping someone could tell me where to buy one, and if I need to know the specifics of the needle/player.
I can't buy on eBay which was my first choice as I don't have a credit card of my own and would have to use my father's account instead which would wreck the surprise.
Does anyone know of somewhere online that I can order a record needle using my Laser Card and that would deliver to Ireland? And again, if I need to find out anything specific about the needle: size/manufacturer/ etc?

Thanks

I found an old Sesame Street Vinyl at Goodwill the other day and bought it because of its 99 cent price sticker. I was wondering if I could play it on any record player or if there is a specific type that is best. It says on the bottom that Stereo Record Players are best, as opposed to Mono Record Players. I was looking on Ebay at record players and am a novice to it all. So, any answer will be appreciated. Thanks.

I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana and I would like to purchase a record player for or less. I need a record player so I can listen to some Devo records which were recently given to me as a gift. Thanks.

Is a picture vinyl playable in a record player? or is it just for show? If it is playable, will playing it cause damage to the image printed on it?

I'm trying to buy a record player, I heard that if you don't have a counterweight on a tonearm that the needle will dig into your vinyl and ruin it a lot faster? I need some good advice PLEASE! could anyone give me good info on buying a decent record player, and what to look for when buying?

thanks!

Actualy I'm 15 and i don't know anything about record players.. why would I care to know about something I'll never use? I'm doing a project.

i have a sound clip i want to use for my bands demo, but i want it to sound like its being played on a record player. like a 50's style sound.

is there any program i can use to get that style? i do have a few audio editing programs.
